Calvary Chapel Louisville is a non-denominational Christian church comprised of like-minded believers commissioned 1) to love and worship our Creator, 2) to edify the body of Christ through the faithful transmission of God's word, and 3) to share the Good News and make disciples. Our mission is defined by the expositional, verse-by-verse application of the Bible, built upon the foundation of Scriptural inerrancy.

Abiding & Evangelism

Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him bears much fruit. For without me you can do nothing." (Jn 15:5).

The Apostle Paul also taught, "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." (Gal 5:22-23).

In addition to the blessing of finding salvation in Jesus Christ, the subsequent fruit of a believer's walk with Him presents refreshment, nourishment, and life to the lost and the unbelieving. Consider how following Jesus tenaciously becomes the means to fulfilling the Great Commission (Mt 28:19-20, Mk 16:15-18), the making of disciples, as we've been called!
